Welcome Back to a new year but the same routine and expectations!
*Those expectations are to come to school with a responsible mindset being prepared, positive and productive with your time. As rising 6th graders, I will be expecting continued growth academically as well as behaviorally, so work hard and focus on your weaknesses in both areas.
For some, new goals should be considered, and for others just keep up the good work!
Homework: In addition to learning new 3rd 9 week content beginning this week, there will be a cumulative year to date math test soon(probably next week) that will cover all 1st and 2nd 9 week SOL’s. Homework every night until the test should include review for that test but may be in addition to whatever new content homework has been assigned.
>>Students should use their notebooks and the completed/graded/corrected 2nd 9 week math test study guide. They were instructed to put it in the pocket folder of their notebooks so they should all have it. Second copies will not be provided.
